Therefore, in conjunction with CSEA Local 857 Unit 9000, we are pleased to announce the establishment of a new, County paid benefit: EAP (Employee Assistant Program)
We have contracted with MHNet, a managed behavioral health-care firm, to provide us with this benefit. Their staff of professional counselors are ready to help you with issues related to family, relationships, drug or alcohol problems, emotional difficulties, and stress management. MHNet also offers legal and financial consultations. They provide a comprehensive, interactive website that includes articles, interactive tools and assessments.
This service is completely confidential and is available to you and the members of your household 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Help is only a phone call away. No problem is too big or too small. To contact MHNet, please call 1.800.492.4357.
This is a fully paid benefit the County Board of Supervisors has elected to provide realizing how important our employees well being is. We thank them for their foresight, we urge you to take full advantage of it.
